Services
Support that meets you where you are.
Individual and family therapy, meal coaching, and group support, all currently virtual and available across New York State. Sessions are 45 minutes. We start by naming your goals together, then work toward them side by side, and alongside your wider care team.
Areas of Focus
What I specialize in.
Eating Disorders
Anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, ARFID, OSFED. I treat the full range, in clients of every age, with a depth of training most generalists don't have. What I won't do is treat the eating in isolation, because the behaviors are almost always carrying a weight the person hasn't had words for yet. We find the words. Then we get to work on what they're pointing to.
Anxiety
Anxiety is exhausting precisely because it feels like vigilance, like if you just stay alert enough, you can keep the bad thing from happening. I help clients tell the difference between a real threat and a loud one, loosen the grip of the second kind, and stop paying interest on worries that were never going to come due.
Depression
Depression has a way of shrinking the world down to whatever's directly in front of you, and convincing you it was always that small. My job isn't to talk you out of how you feel. It's to sit close to it with you, and help you take the kind of small, unglamorous steps that slowly give you your range back.
Parent Support & Coaching
When your kid is struggling, the instinct to fix it fast can leave you more frightened and more alone. I work with parents directly, on what to say at the dinner table, how to hold a limit when you're met with fury, and how to stay a steady presence without abandoning your own needs in the process. You don't have to get this perfectly. You have to not do it by yourself.
Life Transitions
Leaving home, finishing school, ending something, beginning something you didn't plan for. Even the changes you chose can leave you unsure of who you are inside the new shape of your life. This is space to set the old map down, get your footing, and decide for yourself what comes next.
What I Offer
Individual Therapy +
One-on-one counseling for kids, teens, and adults living with an eating disorder, and for adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, and life transitions. We work collaboratively to name your goals, challenge the beliefs that no longer serve you, and build ones that do.
Family Therapy +
Eating disorders don't happen in isolation, and recovery doesn't either. I work with families to understand what they're up against, respond to it, and stay connected to themselves and each other through it.
Meal Coaching +
Practical, in-the-moment support that takes the abstract work of recovery and makes it concrete and doable, one step at a time.
Group Support Coming Soon+
As the practice grows, I plan to offer group support, with a particular hope of building parent groups for the people caring for someone with an eating disorder.
What You'll Gain
The work pays off in ways that last.
A steadier relationship
With food, your body, yourself, and the people around you. Not perfect, but no longer at war.
Boundaries that hold
The confidence to recognize what you need and to set limits that actually stick.
A self beyond the diagnosis
A sense of who you are outside of an eating disorder, a label, or anyone else's expectations.
